MR Series: Food-grade multitube heat exchanger with direct heat recovery.
The MR series heat exchanger is an all stainless steel shell and tube heat exchanger for the food industry, specially designed for product to product heat recovery. The product to be heated or cooled flows both through the interior tubes and the surrounding shell. The MR series has a removable tubebundle that allows hygienic processing also on the shell side. As in most of our series, corrugated tubes are used to increase heat transfer rates which makes the MR series much more efficient than normal smooth tube heat exchangers.
