HRS FUNKE Varino Series: Low temperature condensing boilers.

Boiler Varino Series -- HRS FUNKE Boiler Varino Grande Series -- HRS FUNKE The HRS FUNKE Varino Series are low temperature condensing boilers, highly efficient, which incorporate a unique, patented premix burner system with 8 to 100% modulation in 5% steps. These boilers are supplied as standard with an O2 sensor for perfect combustion under varying operating conditions, a safety temperature limiter together with boiler, water return and flue gas temperature sensors. Furthermore, it has a very high efficiency: up to 99% Gross Calorific Value (GCV) and 110% Net Calorific Value (NCV).

The range also features a siphon for condensates drainage as well as a full control panel. Constructed from Titanium enhanced stainless steel 316Ti for total elimination of corrosion these boilers combine high efficiency with low running costs and are a very low NOx product - less than 50 mg/kWh (based on 3% O2). Simple to install, the HRS FUNKE Varino range can be interfaced with any type of system control.

Options include:

The O2 sensor ensures that the combustion quality remains constant; perfect flame characteristics are maintained (O2 level) whatever the boiler output.

Air excess is permanently and automatically corrected by the O2 sensor, which will modulate the rotation speed of the air fan to meet any variation in combustion needs.

All the variations in combustion parameters such as flame quality, atmospheric pressure or air temperature, gas temperature and pressure, chimney negative pressure are automatically corrected by the in built modulation controller (IMC) and the O2 sensor.

There are currently 13 models in the range with the standard HRS FUNKE Varino rated from 80 to 300 kW and the HRS FUNKE Varino Grande available in units rated from 350 to 600 kW output.

The HRS FUNKE Varino and Varino Grande Series are equipped with a control panel integrating a microprocessor, which operates the control system and the burner. A screen shows the output delivered in percentage, the fan revolution speed, the burner running hours counter, the number of burner cycles, the O2 level contained in the flue gases, plus the temperature of water and flue gases.

The water flow temperature can be easily set in relation to outside temperature. Secondary circuits can control the operation of the boiler using the standard fitted connections (giving 0-10V, 4-20 mA, etc. signals).

The operation state of the boiler can be controlled and analysed at any time with a laptop computer connected to the boiler (using the necessary software).
