In this series, the sterilizer is composed of double tube corrugated heat exchangers of HRS DTA Series that are the most suitable heat exchangers range for fruit dices.

The sterilizer is a single and compact group which is operated from a single control panel. Due to its design it is an easy to operate equipment, of high flexibility and reliable productivity.

HRS Thermblock DTA sterilizers allow the adjustment of heating-holding-cooling cycle of the product in the way that it best suits your needs. It can also work with HTST (High Temperature Short Time) method, in other words, it is able to bring the product under high temperatures for a short time. In this way you achieve a highly efficient process, which allows you to optimise the sterilization process, ensuring that you achieve all the desired effects of it and, at the same time, minimise the undesirable side-effects (organoleptic and/or nutritive losses).

Since it should handle delicate products and fruit dices, the sterilizer includes a HRS BP Series piston pump. It is a positive displacement pump that was originally designed for fruit dices applications and was found to be suitable also for viscous products and products with large particles. The pump is manufactured in stainless steel, without plastic parts, allows temperature design of up to 120ºC, CIP cleaning, working in aseptic process, etc. and it can deliver high flows and pressures up to 40 bar.
